The company, JTSTUDIO (hereinafter referred to as “the controllers”) are joint controllers of personal data. We would like to inform you about the way we handle your personal data.
We process all personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council EU 2016/679 (“GDPR”), and related legislation.
Please note that it is essential that the personal data you provide to us is accurate and complete and up-to-date at all times during processing.
Why do the controllers process this personal data?
The controllers process personal data without the consent of the author/collaborator/supplier mainly for the following reasons:
(a) the conclusion of a contract for the provision of services.
b) maintaining a database of authors/collaborators/suppliers and their contact details (direct marketing of own products, sending commercial communications, dispositions and transports).
c) invoicing and bookkeeping.
d) management of receivables from authors/collaborators/suppliers.
What authorises the controller to process personal data for the above purposes?
Controllers are entitled/required to process personal data if:
(a) they need it for the performance of any contract (acceptance of a binding order) that the authors/collaborators/suppliers have entered into with any of them; if the author/collaborator/supplier refuses to provide such data, the contract cannot be concluded or the performance of the contract cannot be required (e.g. order processing, provision of a service).
(b) must comply with the legal obligations imposed by law.
c) need it for the purposes of their own or a third party’s legitimate interests (e.g. to maintain a database of suppliers and collaborators, marketing their own products, sending commercial communications).
What personal data do controllers process?
The controllers process personal data that have been provided in connection with the conclusion of a contract for the supply of services, orders for services and in particular to the following extent:
(a) Address and identification data: name, surname,date of birth, or personal identification number, address, telephone contact, e-mail address. Name, surname, e-mail address, telephone contact details of external suppliers
(b) Descriptive data: bank details.
c) The controllers do not process any sensitive data.
To whom can the controllers disclose personal data?
Controllers are entitled to disclose or communicate personal data:
(a) to entities or authorities that are entitled to require the company to disclose personal data in accordance with generally binding legal regulations (e.g. police, control authorities, etc.).
b) to processors and contractors with whom the company cooperates, such as database administrators, accountants, other staff members. Upon the request of the collaborator, the firm will provide the collaborator with information about the specific processors to whom it provides personal data under a personal data processing contract.
In what form do controllers process personal data?
Controllers process data in electronic and paper form. Only properly trained persons have access to personal data, and only those who work with it. The controllers have taken effective measures to prevent unauthorised persons and third parties from having access to personal data.
How long will the controllers keep the personal data?
The controllers will retain the personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship, for the period provided for by applicable law, or until the relevant time limits set for exercising or protecting the rights of the controllers have expired. Specific information will be provided upon request.
What are your rights?
a) You are entitled to request information from the controllers about the processing of your personal data, which the controller is obliged to provide to you without undue delay. You are also entitled to request the rectification or completion of your personal data, the erasure or restriction of processing (however, this must not affect the legal obligation of the controllers to process personal data) and you are also entitled to object to processing.
b) You are entitled to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you have doubts about the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data.
